MEET THE COTON de TULEARS! ALL ADOPTED!
These purebred Coton de Tulears are 8 weeks old and ready for their forever homes. Blizzard, Merry and Star are
females, Mistletoe is a male. These pups have been vet checked (health certificate included) and were all found to have
an umbilical hernia which have all been surgically repaired. Otherwise they all had normal examinations. They are up to
date on vaccinations and wormings and are being raised with my kids and other pups. They are eating Diamond Naturals
small breed dry puppy food (a holistic diet containing no beef, wheat, corn or soy).
A little information about Coton de Tulears:
Cotons are a rare, expensive breed from Madagascar and are in the Bichon family (the breed actually originated from the
French Bichon and the Italian Bolognese. They are almost identical to the Bichon Frise - white and fluffy, love people,
12-15 lbs, life span 14-16 years. They have hair as opposed to fur, are a nonshedding breed with low dander, are
hypoallergenic and have no "doggie smell".
Adoption fee is $650.
Care package contains their health card documenting all of their care (shots, dewormings, etc.) starter bag of food, and
Care/Training Guide.
Shots include distemper, hepatitis, adeno 2, parainfluenza and parvo, as well as kennel cough (bordetella). They have
been dewormed.
ALL dogs and puppies in our rescue are treated prophylactically for giardia and coccidia because it is such a
huge problem. They are also treated with flea, tick and heartworm (if old enough) prevention during the
summer months. These treatments are NOT cheap but we feel they are important for the well being of the dog.
We also strictly follow the AAHA and CAPC Shelter Guidelines for vaccinations and parasite control.
