MEET LILY!

Lily is a puppymill rescue who had a litter of pups which have been adopted and now Lily is looking for her forever home.
She is a 3 year old purebred English Toy Spaniel (King Charles Spaniel).  She has been vet checked and the vet did note
that she has luxating patellas which he said was a normal finding for small breeds and is causing her no problem
whatsoever.  Her exam was otherwise completely normal.  When Lily came into rescue, she had lost most of her hair due to
stress but now she has a beautiful sil
ky ruby coat.  She is very sweet and gentle, but is timid until she gets to know you.
There is a certain amount of timidness that she may never get over 100%.  She
is great with kids and other dogs, and is just
a really nice girl.  She is eating Eukanuba small breed puppy food for extra nutrients after delivering a litter and I've also got
her on flaxseed oil, glucosamine and a vitamin.  A fresh supply of these will go with her to her new home.  Lily has had little to
no socialization prior to coming into rescue.  She was absolutely terrified of everything and everyone.  She has become
quite comfortable here and has improved tremendously.  She is still shy with strangers until she gets to know you.  She really
needs a home with lots of love and patience.
 She is not spayed yet.

The adoption fee is $
100.

Shots include distemper, hepatitis, adeno 2,  parainfluenza, and parvo.  They have also been vaccinated for kennel cough
(bordetella) and been dewormed.

ALL dogs and puppies in our rescue are treated prophylactically for giardia and coccidia because it is such a
huge problem.  They are also treated with flea and tick prevention as well.  These treatments are NOT cheap but
we feel they are important for the well being of the dog.  We also strictly follow the AAHA and CAPC Shelter
Guidelines for vaccinations and parasite control.  Each dog receives a 5 day treatment of fenbendazole which
provides coverage for roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms as well as giardia (commonly found in pond
water).  Each dog is also treated with praziquantel for tapeworms and also prophylactic treatment for coccidia.
We do everything we can to ensure that the puppies go to their new homes healthy.

Care package contains his health card documenting care (shots, dewormings, etc.)  as well as Eukanuba puppy food,  and
Care/Training Guide.

If you feel that you could offer the loving, nurturing home that they deserve, please fill out an adoption application for
consideration.
