MEET CHESTER, BUTTERSCOTCH & JELLY BEAN! ALL ADOPTED!
These babies are 11 weeks old and are an absolute joy! Their mom is a purebred ruby King Charles Spaniel, dad is a
purebred buff Cocker Spaniel. Amazingly the mom had 10 puppies which is unbelievable for just an 18 lb dog but I'm sorry
to say that despite my best efforts, only the 3 largest pups survived. I bottle fed and even tube fed them for a long time but
the smaller ones were just too tiny. These three males have been very much loved and spoiled and are truly delightful. They
are vet checked, up to date on vaccinations and dewormings and their tails were docked by the veterinarian. They are
absolutely beautiful and are going to be gorgeous adults. We are really going to miss these babies as we have spent so
much time with them. They are happy, healthy, and well socialized. I cannot say enough good things about these boys and
we will be sad when they leave.
The adoption fee is $350.
Shots include distemper, hepatitis, adeno 2, parainfluenza, and parvo. They have also been vaccinated for kennel cough
(bordetella) and been dewormed.
ALL dogs and puppies in our rescue are treated prophylactically for giardia and coccidia because it is such a
huge problem. They are also treated with flea and tick prevention as well. These treatments are NOT cheap but
we feel they are important for the well being of the dog. We also strictly follow the AAHA and CAPC Shelter
Guidelines for vaccinations and parasite control. Each dog receives a 5 day treatment of fenbendazole which
provides coverage for roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms as well as giardia (commonly found in pond
water). Each dog is also treated with praziquantel for tapeworms and also prophylactic treatment for coccidia.
We do everything we can to ensure that the puppies go to their new homes healthy.
Care package contains his health card documenting care (shots, dewormings, etc.) as well as Eukanuba puppy food, and
Care/Training Guide.
