PLEASE NOTE:  NO DOG WILL BE HELD WITHOUT A DEPOSIT.  IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT A

MEET THE WHEATENS!

NOTE:  Please do your research and know the breed BEFORE you adopt a wheaten.  While they are cute teddy
bears, wheatens aren't for everyone.  Many wheatens end up in rescue because naive owners have no idea
what they are getting into so again, please do your research and make sure a wheaten terrier is right for your
family.  I have provided a link to a funny story from a wheaten owner but its all true.

Read these two links as it will save a lot of time while you are here and also help you to better determine if a
Wheaten is right for you:

These purebred Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier puppies are 8 weeks old and ready for their forever homes.  The puppies
have been vet checked and come with a certificate signed by the vet stating they had normal exams.  They are up to date
on vaccinations, have been dewormed, are happy, healthy, and have been raised with kids as well as other pups.  The
mothers are very friendly and healthy and have been adopted.  They came in pregnant after being rescued from a
puppymill and they had their pups in a foster home.  The pups are a little shy around new people but warm up quickly.
There
are 3 males and 3 females.  Approved applicants can come and choose from the available pups.  SEE VIDEO
BELOW.

Adoption fee is $550.

Shots include distemper, hepatitis, adeno 2,  parainfluenza, and parvo.

ALL dogs and puppies in our rescue are treated prophylactically for giardia and coccidia because it is such a
huge problem.  They are also treated with flea and tick prevention as well.  These treatments are NOT cheap
but we feel they are important for the well being of the dog.  We also strictly follow the AAHA and CAPC Shelter
Guidelines for vaccinations and parasite control.  Each dog receives a 5 day treatment of fenbendazole which
provides coverage for roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms as well as giardia (commonly found in pond
water).  Each dog is also treated with praziquantel for tapeworms and also prophylactic treatment for coccidia.
We do everything we can to ensure that the puppies go to their new homes healthy.

Care package contains their health card documenting all of their care (shots, dewormings, etc.)  starter bag of food, and
Care/Training Guide.

If you feel that you could offer the loving, nurturing home that they deserve, please fill out an adoption application for
consideration.
